London and Zürich-based flutist, composer, and producer Lucas F. Jordan has returned with his latest musical offering, “À Procura.” This new single marks a significant evolution in his creative output, blending complex arrangements with a cinematic quality that defines his signature sound. As an artist who has been shaped by a multicultural background, including his birth in Brazil and subsequent years residing in the USA, Switzerland, and the UK, Jordan utilizes his unique perspective to bridge the gap between diverse musical worlds.
The title “À Procura,” which translates to “in search of,” serves as a thematic anchor for the work, representing a restless exploration of identity and the immigrant experience. The composition functions as a reflection of the feeling of navigating various cultures, woven together with technical precision.
While the project initially began as a spontaneous creative burst meant to be a love song, it transitioned into a more universal inquiry, posing questions about the shared human experience. This shift resulted in a track that explores how different musical languages can coexist, rather than relying on calculated eclecticism. 
Jordan’s formal training at the Zurich University of the Arts and the Royal Academy of Music in London provides the foundation for the piece, while his experience as a Guinness World Record holding musician and prize-winning composer informs the intricate layers of electronics, film composition, and performance present throughout the track.
