“Handsy” by Kyra Machida combines attitude and energy, now available with a burlesque-themed visual.

Kyra Machida brings fun, sass, and dancefloor energy together in her latest single, “Handsy”. Released through Sound Factory Records, RECORDS, and RCA Records, the track showcases a confident shift in her sound, highlighted by a performance-driven visualizer.

Set in a burlesque club, the visual shows Kyra alone on stage, inviting the viewer into her world with a look and style that matches the song’s bold tone. The single plays on pop conventions while keeping its edge and vibrancy.

Kyra explains the inspiration:
“We wrote ‘Handsy’ right after I got back from London, which really inspired the bold, fun, totally unattached character you see in the visualizer. There’s something luring about her — kind of like a spell — and we wanted the production to reflect that energy: playful, quirky, a little sexy, but never too serious. My producer and I were both deep into Gwen Stefani, and Fergie at the time, totally by coincidence, and I think that’s what inspired the playfulness of the song. The whole point was to build this world that she could pull you into and I’m so excited about the visualizer because I think it really brings that story to life.”

This release follows “DNA” and a trio of earlier tracks that introduced Kyra’s multidimensional style. Her music continues to bridge catchy melodies with sharp production and distinct visuals.

Originally from Japan and now based in Los Angeles, Kyra Machida is refining a sound rooted in performance and pop instinct. “Handsy” is a lively addition to her catalog and an invitation into her playful, confident aesthetic.
