“I Died Once” sees Fiora Anicca reclaim her power through music born of trauma, truth, and spiritual growth.
Fiora Anicca emerges with one of the most emotionally resonant pop releases of the year in her new single, “I Died Once”, released this November. The track combines deeply personal storytelling with ethereal production to form a sonic statement on recovery, spirituality, and personal evolution.
Inspired by the emotional terrain of addiction, abuse, and healing, the single is part of Fiora’s journey back to herself. “I truly felt like I died once — emotionally, spiritually. But I came back. And this song is the sound of that return,” she explains. “I feel freer, wiser and authentic about myself because of my past experiences.”
Drawing on a lineage of expressive and experimental female artists, Fiora fuses the vulnerability of Florence + The Machine with the mysticism of Björk to craft her unique genre: Mystic Pop.
Born in Poland and now rooted in Leeds, Fiora’s path led her through complex PTSD and alcohol dependency. After traditional therapy failed, she turned inward, applying techniques like MAP subconscious reprogramming and somatic practices to support her healing. Today, she channels that growth into music and her work as a trauma coach.

“Remarkable artist and music!” wrote Darren Northfield of Chapel FM, echoing the enthusiasm around Fiora’s recent debut gig at The Fulford Arms.
“I Died Once” is a haunting, graceful invitation into a soundscape where art meets healing—and where pain transforms into power.
