Riley Green’s “Midtown Sessions” offers an unfiltered glimpse into his songwriting and vocal style.
With “Midtown Sessions,” Riley Green delivers his most raw and emotionally honest work to date. Released through Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, this acoustic EP strips away layers of production to focus purely on Green’s lyrics, melodies, and the kind of Southern storytelling that has defined his rise.
Produced by Erik Dylan, the project was developed during Green’s extensive touring schedule. Each track feels like a snapshot from the road—honest, reflective, and anchored in a love for traditional country.
Green took the lead on production for several songs, including “Jesus Saves” and the chart-dominating “Worst Way.” That track, now Double PLATINUM-certified, recently became his fifth No. 1 hit.
Also included is a deeply personal version of “The Cowboy in Me,” originally by Tim McGraw, reimagined in a format that lets Green’s voice do the heavy lifting. The EP is rounded out by “Change My Mind” and “Bartender In Destin.”
With the Damn Country Music Tour currently underway, fans are seeing this stripped-back energy translated to the stage. He’s hitting major cities and international venues through November and has confirmed Duckman Jam will return this fall in Little Rock, AR—this time supporting wetland conservation through a donation partnership with Ducks Unlimited.
Midtown Sessions is more than just an acoustic EP—it’s a tribute to the music that shaped him and a nod to where he’s headed next.
