With “New Country,” Noah Cyrus explores independence, identity, and roots ahead of new album.
Noah Cyrus is redefining her path through music. The release of “New Country” featuring Blake Shelton serves as the fourth preview from her forthcoming album I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME, due July 11 via RECORDS/Columbia Records.
Written and co-produced by Cyrus alongside longtime collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, “New Country” reveals a thematic shift toward autonomy and renewal. In a statement, Cyrus said: “It’s a song about finding a new place in life, about walking on your own two feet, and realizing that change is the only thing that’s constant. The only way out is through.”
This emotionally direct track also features harmonies from Shelton, further grounding its message in tradition while simultaneously marking a modern reinvention of country introspection.
The album itself promises a broad musical palette, with appearances from Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley, and Bill Callahan. Each collaborator contributes to a deeply textured body of work that remains unmistakably personal.
Live, Cyrus will introduce the project during a special release concert at The Ford in Los Angeles on July 11. She will then embark on a full-scale North American headline tour beginning September 12. Tickets are on sale now at www.noahcyrus.com/#tour.
With “New Country,” Noah Cyrus bridges country music heritage and contemporary reflection with maturity, grace, and clarity.
