Sofia Camara’s new single “Girls Like You” explores desire and emotional patterns in summer-ready form.
Sofia Camara is having a defining moment in 2025. Today, she shares “Girls Like You,” a pulsating new single blending lyrical vulnerability with an infectious pop beat. The track is available via 21 Entertainment and Universal Music Canada, with U.S. and UK backing from Mercury and Polydor Records respectively.
“This song is about emotional muscle memory,” Camara says. “It reminds me that even though I’ve loved and lost, there’s something so beautiful about a little bit of danger and the unknown… It makes me feel like falling in love.”
“Girls Like You” was penned and produced by Mike Wise, Nathan Ferraro, Lowell, and Donny Bravo — the same team behind Camara’s prior single “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent).” Lowell, who won the 2025 JUNO for Songwriter of the Year, brings deep creative force to the track, alongside Ferraro, a co-writer on Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
Camara’s voice has already captivated audiences across Europe, where she previewed the track live while touring with Dean Lewis. Since then, clips teasing the single have amassed more than 14.4 million views online.
Fans can expect more soon: a visualizer is on the way, and her Healing Hearts Tour kicks off this October in Europe, following appearances at major festivals like Osheaga and Lollapalooza.
