Country breakout star Tucker Wetmore reveals his debut album “What Not To,” out April 25, and releases new single “3,2,1.”
Rising country artist Tucker Wetmore is gearing up for a milestone year with the announcement of his debut album “What Not To,” set to release on April 25 via Universal Music Group Nashville. Wetmore, who has quickly become one of country’s most in-demand newcomers, made the announcement during UMG Nashville’s Country Radio Seminar showcase at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
The 19-track album explores the lessons and experiences that have shaped Wetmore’s 25 years, weaving personal storytelling, heartfelt ballads, and modern country anthems. The title track, “What Not To”, holds particular significance for the singer, as it reflects on struggles, redemption, and resilience, themes that resonate throughout the album.
To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Wetmore has released “3,2,1,” an infectious hook-driven track that will also serve as his next country radio single, officially impacting on March 10. The song, penned by Josh Miller, Summer Overstreet, and Jordan Reynolds, tells a story of regret and missed chances, underscored by its memorable lyric: “three words, two late, damn girl, you’re the one that got away.”
After his RIAA Platinum-certified No. 1 hit “Wind Up Missin’ You”, Wetmore’s star continues to rise. The iHeartRadio Best New Country Artist nominee is also set to join Thomas Rhett’s “Better In Boots Tour” this summer and make his way across the pond for a sold-out London show at Electric Ballroom as part of C2C Festival.
With over 780 million global streams, two Billboard Hot 100 hits, and a debut EP that turned heads, Tucker Wetmore is proving that he’s just getting started. “What Not To” arrives April 25—pre-save it now!
