New Zealand’s Will Swinton shares “Hold You Again,” a moody single from his EP, December, dropping Dec. 13.
Will Swinton continues his rise with “Hold You Again,” a dark and driving folk-rock single available now via 10K Projects/Capitol Records. This track offers an introspective look at heartbreak, featuring stormy guitars, rolling percussion, and Swinton’s striking vocals.
The song delves into themes of accountability and longing for lost love, with poignant lyrics that capture Swinton’s raw emotion: “Maybe it’s what I deserve, for all the lies and all the hurt, but I still gotta try / ’Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes.”
“Hold You Again” is accompanied by a live performance video directed by Brandon Chen, whose minimalist visuals complement the track’s intensity. This marks the third entry in a video series featuring Swinton’s previous singles “Where I Belong” and “Walls.” The latter earned high praise, appearing on Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need to Know and ET’s New Music Friday.
Swinton’s earlier track “Flames” also found success, reaching #9 on the Hot 20 NZ singles chart. With “Hold You Again,” he further establishes himself as a compelling voice in the music world.
