The track was inspired by a vivid 3 AM dream, leading to spontaneous songwriting that Whitney describes as instinctual and cathartic.
“The subject was a girl I used to know… I woke up at 3 AM, and I was like, ‘I’m going to write these crazy lyrics I came up with in the dream half-asleep’…”
