The acclaimed producers drop a bold, emotional anthem with maryjo on vocals.
First premiering in live sets and baked into Big Bootie Mix, Vol. 26, the track has built a following in months leading up to today’s release. Blending Two Friends’ signature electrifying production with maryjo’s commanding vocals, “Trouble” emerges as a pulse-racing anthem built for the dancefloor.
“Trouble” is a fiery anthem that revels in the thrill of temptation. Driven by the duo’s adrenaline-charged production, the track surges with pulsing beats and playful urgency, while maryjo’s soaring vocals capture the rush of falling for someone who feels dangerously irresistible. Flirtatious and rebellious, “Trouble” leans into the chaos of desire, blurring the line between caution and surrender. The result is a high-voltage club anthem that thrives on tension, release, and the undeniable pull of attraction.
The accompanying music video, shot and directed by Bella Lopez, captures the song’s carefree spirit with sun-soaked scenes of cruising through LA in a convertible and joyfully singing along.
On the song, Two Friends say, “We’re absolutely buzzing that ‘Trouble’ is finally out in the world. This one has been living in our sets for months and the response has been unreal. Working with maryjo was such a cool experience. Her voice brought the song to life in a way we couldn’t have imagined. We played the song across our entire Heatwave Tour and even premiered it in Big Bootie Mix Vol. 26. ‘Trouble’ has already built its own little story before release and we couldn’t be more excited to unleash it.”
Earlier this month, Two Friends continued their performance-packed summer with unforgettable sets at Central Park’s Summerstage in New York City and Breakaway Music Festival. The duo consistently draws massive crowds, cementing their reputation as one of dance music’s most dynamic live acts.
In August, Two Friends headlined the Perry’s Stage at Lollapalooza. Bringing unrelenting energy, the duo treated fans to a performance of their most recent release, “No One Else” and were joined onstage by the song’s featured rising pop artist Corbyn Besson. Intertwined with remixes and original tracks that have made the duo a must-see at festivals across the country, Two Friends turned up the momentum with a surprise premiere of their unreleased original song “Waiting 4 U,” featuring powerhouse vocalist Natalie Jane.
The duo will bring their festival, Big Bootie Land, back to Chicago on May 16th, 2026 for the premiere of Big Bootie Mix, Vol. 27.
