Tiësto, Aya Tiësto, Aya

The South African hit is recharged with Tiësto’s global dancefloor energy.

Since its release earlier this year, the original version of ‘Ma Tnsani (Yalla Habibi)’ has racked up over 40 million global streams and earned consistent support across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Capital Xtra to name a few. The track has become a permanent fixture on dancefloors worldwide, with organic love from Black Coffee, Louie Vega, Pete Tong, Rampa, Osunlade, Keinemusikand more. Its impact has also spilled far beyond the club, with celebrity fans including Travis Scott, Anthony Joshua, Naomi Campbell, Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland, Specs Gonzalez, Indiyah Polack, Ellen Pompeo and Patrice Evra all showing love to the record.

Tiësto’s remix takes the cross-cultural energy of Vanco’s original and pushes it to new heights, amplifying Aya’s soaring vocal with widescreen synths, thunderous builds, and ramped up peak-time power. The result is a version primed to unite underground dancefloors and festival stages alike.

Speaking on the remix, Vanco says :

“To have Tiësto remix one of my records is a dream. Ma Tnsani was born from my roots and my love for blending cultures through sound. To hear it reimagined on this scale is incredibly special.”

Hailing from Johannesburg, Vanco has carved out a sound that balances African rhythms with global electronic influences. As profiled by Mixmag earlier this year, he’s released music on Sony, Universal, Get Physical, Defected, Sondela and has collaborated with Moby, Black Eyed Peas, Daddy Yankee, Pablo Fierro and Una Rams, and is also enjoying follow-up success this summer with his remix of Ciza’s huge viral anthem ‘Isaka (6AM)’, another record coming out of South Africa with over 40 million streams to date. His music draws from Afro-tech, house, and cinematic electronica, earning him recognition as one of South Africa’s most innovative and exciting electronic exports. His productions have travelled far beyond his home soil, with Vanco set to headline The Lower Third in London this Saturday 13th September as part of his European tour. He’ll also play across Lebanon, Latvia, France, Cyprus, Switzerland, Dubai and Paris throughout September, which is a testament to the surging global appetite for both his electrifying live sets and distinctive productions.

With Tiësto’s remix now set to catapult ‘Ma Tnsani (Yalla Habibi)’ to even greater heights, the track reaffirms Vanco’s standing as an artist bridging continents through music – and marks a powerful new chapter in his journey.
