Tiera Kennedy drops her Beyoncé “1+1” cover across all platforms to celebrate one year since Cowboy Carter.
Tiera Kennedy has officially released her fan-favorite cover of Beyoncé’s “1+1” to all major platforms, exactly 364 days after the release of Cowboy Carter—the genre-blending album that won Album of the Year at the 2025 GRAMMYs and featured Kennedy’s soaring vocals.
Originally shared as an Apple Music exclusive last June, the song is now receiving the wide release fans have been asking for.
The release is part of a celebratory moment in a career that has seen a steady rise. Currently, Kennedy is opening for GRAMMY-nominated duo The War & Treaty on their nationwide Plus One Tour. She’ll be taking the stage in cities across the U.S. and Canada, with stops in New York, Toronto, Washington D.C., and more.
Reflecting on her experience, Kennedy shares, “Even a year later, it’s hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that I got to collaborate with Beyoncé. It’s truly been a dream come true.”
In addition to the tour, Kennedy will also grace festival lineups at Stagecoach, CMA Fest, and Vineyard Jam. May 19 marks a significant milestone with her first-ever headlining show at The Basement East in Nashville.
Beyond the stage, she’s finding inspiration in the studio once again. “Getting back into the writer’s room has been so refreshing,” Kennedy shares. “The past few years have been a rollercoaster, and I’ve really learned to lean on my friends, family, and faith through it all. Now, it feels like all the roots I’ve planted are blossoming and it’s been so special to write about this season of life. I’m excited for everyone to hear it!”
With more music on the way and a tour calendar filled with major appearances, Tiera Kennedy’s voice continues to rise in the genres of R&B, country, and gospel, making her one of the most compelling new talents to watch in 2025.
