New single “clue” by The Two Lips captures emotional exhaustion and fragile hope.

The Two Lips, the Los Angeles dream-pop duo making waves across indie circles, have unveiled their newest track “clue,” out now via Island Records UK. The song continues their upward trajectory following their debut “talk.”

Blending soft, intimate vocals with dreamlike soundscapes, “clue” explores relationship fatigue and the bittersweet hope that remains. Andrea and Jewlz shared the meaning behind the song: “‘clue’ is a song about the feeling when you have exhausted all options trying to save a relationship and you feel like you’ve reached a dead end… Still, there’s hope that the ‘case’ can be cracked and the relationship is worth saving.”

They’ve had a whirlwind summer, opening for Sabrina Carpenter in Hyde Park before headlining The Grace in London. Their LA tour stops have sold out, with fan demand prompting an additional night at El Rey Theatre. The pair are continuing their sold-out West Coast run through August.

Andrea and Jewlz started recording together in 2023, building songs from real-life conversations and shared heritage. With over 25 million Spotify streams on “still love you (todavía),” the pair have become known for capturing vulnerability in shimmering pop.
