Sophia Warren faces her anxiety and identity with fearless honesty on her EP “Adesso” and new single “Purple”.
With her sophomore EP Adesso, Sophia Warren invites listeners into an intimate portrait of becoming. Released via Tigris 33/UMG, the seven-track project is a meditation on identity, independence, and learning to be fully present.
Warren coalesces raw emotion and serene soundscapes in “Purple,” the lead single out alongside a visualizer. Describing it, she explains, “It’s the sound of me facing my anxiety… and choosing to embrace every part of myself.”
Adesso marks a significant shift for Warren, reflecting her current state of being: “The EP asks, who am I without them? What do I truly want? It’s scary, it’s raw, but it’s real.”
Chris Coady’s lush production creates space for Warren’s voice to carry emotional weight across the record. “Purple,” in particular, encapsulates that blend of inner chaos and composure — red anger, blue sadness — creating the emotional ‘purple’ where they intersect.
This release continues the narrative arc introduced in Warren’s debut EP and signals what’s to come in the trilogy. With Adesso, she sheds past definitions and moves forward with purpose.
