In “You Stole The Show,” SIENNA SPIRO channels longing and imagination in a stripped-back piano ballad.
Capitol Records artist SIENNA SPIRO dives deep into personal memory and emotional performance in her latest single “You Stole The Show.” The track, co-produced by Yakob and Eddie Lopes, captures a haunting moment of vulnerability, guided by piano and orchestral strings.
At 19, SIENNA continues to impress with her lyrical storytelling. “You Stole The Show” was inspired by an emotional realization she experienced while performing on tour. Each night, she relived the memories behind her songs—many written about someone no longer in her life—imagining what it would be like if he were in the audience.
As she explains:
“‘You Stole the Show’ explores the idea of performance — not just as an artist, but also as a person and the various ways we ‘perform’ in our own lives…”
The Vevo DSCVR performance of the song highlights its emotional core, with SIENNA’s voice front and center in a beautifully minimal live rendition. The performance follows her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, as well as a previous DSCVR session featuring her hit “MAYBE.” The single, which appears on her debut EP, has surpassed 100 million streams globally.
Her latest releases, including “Dream Police,” have introduced a darker sonic palette that continues to evolve her sound. This fall, she’ll bring that evolving voice to stages across Europe and the UK on her headline tour.
Also on the horizon is a limited-edition vinyl pressing of “MAYBE.”—out August 2 in celebration of its first anniversary.
