“Be Still” is Sebastian Schub’s newest track—intimate, emotional, and lifted from his debut EP “Sing Like Madonna”.
Emerging singer-songwriter Sebastian Schub shares “Be Still,” a gentle and affecting track from his upcoming debut EP Sing Like Madonna, out June 6 on Island EMI / Capitol Records.
Anchored by his powerful baritone, “Be Still” is a quiet yet commanding piece of music that reveals the depth and introspection at the heart of Schub’s artistry.
Raised in Hamburg and now based in London, Schub’s story includes time as an opera singer, actor, and busker. Though he initially dreamed of becoming an actor, it was on the streets of London where he found his true creative calling.
After years of honing his voice at open mics and street corners, his breakout single “Sing Like Madonna” began gaining traction. In 2025, his music went viral online—marking the culmination of his long-earned journey.
Working with acclaimed producers Steve Fitzmaurice, Rob Kirwan, and Dann Hume, Schub has crafted an EP rich with honesty, influenced by artists like Glen Hansard.
“I didn’t speak English until I was 15,” Schub notes, adding that reading Jane Eyre multiple times helped him master the language and find his lyrical voice.
With upcoming performances in New York, Los Angeles, and a major BST Hyde Park appearance supporting Noah Kahan, Schub is poised for a breakout.
“Be Still” is streaming now across all platforms.
