“Even if it’s platonic love, a humanitarian love… ‘New Romantic’ is my own romantic way of expressing love to someone…”

“New Romantic” exemplifies SE SO NEON’s ability to blend genre and sentiment—drawing from vintage tones, lo-fi aesthetics, and modern pop sensibilities. The group has consistently pushed musical boundaries, and this track adds another compelling layer.

Soyoon’s thoughtful lyricism and sonic exploration make SE SO NEON stand out. While their lyrics are often sung in Korean, the music transcends linguistic borders.

“People will feel my energy and my soul,” Soyoon affirms.

The track follows previous releases “Twit Winter” and “Remember!”, both of which offer glimpses into the evolving themes and sonic textures of NOW.

With “New Romantic,” SE SO NEON sets the stage for an unforgettable debut album that will speak to audiences far beyond its origins.
