Rising queer pop star Samsara announces her new single “PUT ‘EM UP!” set for release May 30, alongside the launch of a pioneering UK school tour. Both the track and the initiative mark significant steps in her mission to blend activism with art.
With high-energy production and fearless lyrics, “PUT ‘EM UP!” is a defiant celebration of identity. “This song is for anyone who’s ever been told to sit down or stay quiet, ” says Samsara. “PUT ‘EM UP!’ is about standing your ground and celebrating who you are—loudly.

The single follows “Strike III” and continues her exploration of gender, power, and self-expression through music.
What truly sets this chapter apart is Samsara’s school tour. As the first openly trans artist to embark on such an initiative across the UK, Samsara is visiting high schools to perform and speak openly about issues facing queer youth. Her appearances cover identity, bullying, mental health, and representation—blending live performance with real-world impact.
“I’m not just here to perform—I’m here to make sure the next generation doesn’t
feel invisible,
” she explains.
Born in Brisbane and raised internationally, Samsara draws from a global
background and a diverse creative career. From performing on stage to styling for
Vogue Hong Kong, she brings her lived experiences to every lyric.
With festival appearances planned and additional singles, including “Venomous,
” on
the way, Samsara is reshaping pop with honesty and heart.
