Following a GRAMMY-winning year, Sabrina Carpenter shares “Manchild,” co-written with Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff.
Sabrina Carpenter releases her brand-new single “Manchild,” a sharp, emotionally layered pop track that officially begins her next musical era. Arriving via Island Records, the song was written alongside her longtime collaborator Amy Allen and produced with Jack Antonoff—both of whom contributed to her celebrated album Short n’ Sweet.
2024 was a transformative year for Sabrina. Her album Short n’ Sweet shattered streaming records and earned six GRAMMY® nominations. With tracks like “Espresso” and “Taste,” she cemented her standing as a global pop leader.
“Espresso” earned her a GRAMMY® win for “Best Pop Solo Performance,” while Short n’ Sweet took home the award for “Best Pop Vocal Album.” She also delivered a standout GRAMMYs performance, combining both hits in a medley that marked her debut on the award show’s stage.
Beyond accolades, Sabrina continued to build an international fan base. She made history on the UK Singles Chart, holding the top three positions at once—a first for any female artist—and became the first international recipient of the BRITs’ Global Success honor.
With “Manchild,” she reasserts her songwriting prowess and versatility. Her previous release, Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe), featured five new tracks, including a Dolly Parton duet. “Busy Woman,” one of the bonus tracks, premiered live during her headlining tour, further showcasing her command of the stage.
Now, “Manchild” leads the way into a new creative chapter, reinforcing why Sabrina Carpenter is not only a chart-topper, but one of today’s defining pop voices.
