Rosie Darling’s “Roomful Of People” captures heartfelt storytelling and uplifting new energy.
Singer-songwriter Rosie Darling introduces her latest project Roomful Of People, a fresh and emotionally rich EP out now via Nettwerk.
Produced by Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe), the EP captures Rosie’s shift into a more vibrant and upbeat sonic space without losing the introspection that defines her music.
“It Is What It Is,” the EP’s standout single, blends wistful melodies with emotional acceptance. Rosie sings, “I say, ‘It is what it is,’ because I know what it isn’t.” About the song, she says, “Communication in relationships is complex, but it can also be simple.”
Rosie describes Roomful Of People as a refreshing change from her last album Lanterns. “I was able to have more fun on this project. It’s energized, and it’s like a reset for me.”
The EP also features “Roomful Of People” with Jake Scott, “Smoke & Mirrors,” the empowering “Joanna,” and the liberating “This Is Me Letting Go.”
Offering an honest look at love, loss, and self-acceptance, Roomful Of People highlights Rosie Darling’s continued growth as a voice for emotional storytelling in indie-pop.
