“ETERNO” features 13 tracks reinterpreting timeless songs. Prince Royce’s new album arrives May 16.
Prince Royce has officially announced his upcoming album ETERNO, a 13-track collection that reimagines classic songs through the rhythm of bachata. Slated for release on May 16, the album is now available for pre-save, with lead single “How Deep Is Your Love” out now.
The project presents a unique concept—blending the nostalgia of universally loved songs with Royce’s contemporary touch and bilingual lyricism. The inspiration behind ETERNO traces back to his breakthrough hit “Stand By Me,” a track that helped introduce bachata to a global audience.
“I’ve always loved the classics — the songs that never go out of style and bring back powerful memories,” Royce expressed. “With ETERNO I wanted to honor those timeless tracks and give them new life in the rhythm of bachata, a genre that’s part of my soul.”
Royce previewed the project at this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro with a medley of “My Girl,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Dancing in the Moonlight”—originally by The Temptations, Bee Gees, and King Harvest. His renditions offered a sneak peek into the album’s nostalgic yet innovative sound.
With ETERNO, Royce brings a heartfelt homage to the music that influenced him while inviting fans to experience these classics in a new light. The countdown to May 16 has begun—with more surprises expected along the way.
