Canadian singer-songwriter Olivia Lunny reveals her new single “Marilyn,” out now and taken from her forthcoming album Velvet & Denim, arriving this summer. Blending Hollywood nostalgia with modern attitude, the track pays tribute to Marilyn Monroe and the power of owning your moment.
“‘Marilyn’ is an anthem for confidence,” says Olivia. “It’s about stepping into your power, feeling yourself and embracing your beauty unapologetically!… It’s also an ode to the queen of confidence herself, Marilyn Monroe.”

Lunny’s EP Heartbreak on Repeat saw her solidify her presence in the pop scene, with standout single “TIMEZONE” helping the release earn over 7 million streams. Her live résumé includes support tours with Ellie Goulding and Loreen, and in 2025, she’s set to take the stage at The Governors Ball and LIDO Festival in London.
