Naomi Sharon reveals a new side of herself with the announcement of The Only Love We Know, her upcoming EP set to drop May 9 via OVO Sound. Leading the rollout is the title track, released today—a soulful, genre-bending piece that captures the essence of self-love and personal transformation.

While her earlier work often centered on romantic introspection, this project explores emotional independence. Executive produced by Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan, the EP introduces a more centered, grounded Naomi Sharon—one who has learned to embrace change without regret.

“This EP is more about finding happiness within yourself and embracing the positive things in life,” Sharon says. “It is about self-love and independence.”

Her sonic palette continues to evolve as well, incorporating influences from her childhood, such as her father’s love for deep house and the global-electronic sounds of Buddha-Bar: “That aesthetic and vibe have now been translated into this EP. It carries a certain allure… both relaxed and sophisticated.”

Born in Rotterdam and deeply connected to her Dutch and Caribbean roots, Sharon has made a name for herself through emotionally honest storytelling and genre-blending compositions. As the first female artist signed to OVO Sound, she’s collaborated with top producers including Noah “40” Shebib and Alex Lustig.

With her latest release, Sharon invites fans into a new chapter—one defined by emotional clarity, musical depth, and creative evolution.
