GRAMMY-winning artist Miguel releases “Always Time,” a heartfelt track exploring vulnerability and closure, with a self-directed video.

GRAMMY-winning singer and songwriter Miguel is back with “Always Time,” his first new release in this next chapter of his career. Released via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records, the track captures Miguel’s signature blend of emotional depth and sonic artistry. The single comes shortly after a teaser on social media that sparked excitement among fans.

“Always Time” was written and produced by Miguel, with additional contributions from Jeff Bhasker and Dave Sitek. The song offers an intimate look at heartbreak and introspection, driven by Miguel’s powerful vocal delivery. Reflecting on its personal significance, Miguel shares, “This may be the most difficult song I’ve ever had to write – for all of the life lessons and experiences that live between each line. I’m grateful for the closure it has given me and know it’s the most honest way to begin this chapter of my artistry and relationship with my audience.”

Accompanying the release is a one-take music video, directed by Miguel himself, which visually amplifies the raw emotion embedded in the track.

“Always Time” signals a fresh artistic direction for Miguel, coming after the resurgence of his 2010s hit “Sure Thing,” which recently climbed to #1 on Billboard’s Pop Chart. With a catalog that includes four critically acclaimed albums and 13 GRAMMY nominations, Miguel continues to evolve as one of R&B’s most innovative voices.
