Maroon 5 taps LISA for “PRICELESS,” their first K-pop collab and preview of their next album era.
Maroon 5 returns with “PRICELESS,” a guitar-forward single featuring LISA, out today via 222/Interscope Records. The track marks their first collaboration with a K-pop artist and offers a sonic preview of their next album.
“It’s just a guitar-based song which we haven’t really done in so long,” Adam Levine says. “I actually got a little emotional recording ‘cause it was sort of reconnecting to our roots.”
James Valentine echoes the sentiment: “‘PRICELESS’ gave me the same sort of excitement from the chords to overall vibe. It established the writing and sound for our upcoming album.”
The cinematic music video—directed by Aerin Moreno and inspired by Mr. & Mrs. Smith—captures the playful yet edgy tone of the song, shot entirely on 35mm in downtown Los Angeles.
With a world tour and album details forthcoming, Maroon 5 is poised to reintroduce their original sound to a new generation—starting with “PRICELESS.”
