RAYE and Mark Ronson unveil “Suzanne,” a collaborative single with timeless musical elegance.
Mark Ronson and RAYE have released “Suzanne,” a collaborative new single born from the APxMusic series by Audemars Piguet, celebrating the brand’s 150th anniversary. The track blends classic songwriting with lush production and a horn-driven, vintage supper club sound.
Written by Ronson, RAYE, Tommy Brenneck, and Eric Hagstrom, the track was produced by Ronson and co-produced by Brenneck. It’s a seamless meeting of their musical identities—RAYE’s emotive vocals paired with Mark’s cinematic approach to production.
“I’ve admired RAYE’s artistry for years now,” says Mark Ronson. “When Audemars Piguet brought us together…it felt like the stars aligning.”
He adds, “This isn’t just another project—it’s something we’ve poured ourselves into completely… all night tracking sessions in London, New York, and Los Angeles.”
RAYE reflects, “I used to work in Mark Ronson’s studio when I was a baby artist. Everything about this moment feels meant to be.”
She adds, “From the moment I heard the music, I knew the song should be called ‘Suzanne.’ Then I learned about Suzanne Audemars, and now every time I play this track, I feel joy and pride.”
“Suzanne” is not just a song—it’s a story of artistic evolution, respect, and serendipity.
