Luke Combs premieres new single “Back In The Saddle” and video starring Dale Jr. and Richard Petty.

Luke Combs taps into his country roots and motorsport heritage with the release of his new single, “Back In The Saddle,” and a high-octane music video featuring NASCAR greats Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty. Directed by Tyler Adams, the visual celebrates legacy, grit, and tradition—values that continue to shape Combs’ ever-growing career.

The single was written by Combs with Dan Isbell and Jonathan Singleton, and produced alongside Singleton and Chip Matthews. It delivers classic country storytelling, bolstered by Combs’ signature vocal power.

Reflecting on the experience, Combs said: “So much work goes into making these songs, so much time we spend making them, from the studio writing them to the videos. I got to make the video with Dale Jr. and Richard Petty, which is a total dream come true. My grandpa would be rolling over in his grave in a good way if he knew that I got to hang out with Richard Petty and Dale Jr.”

In the middle of a record-breaking festival run, including being the first country artist to headline both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, Combs is reinforcing his status as a genre-defining force. His recent album Fathers & Sons and single “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” have brought him even greater acclaim and chart success.

Having also collaborated with Post Malone, Bailey Zimmerman and Jon Bellion, and recently opened Category 10 in Nashville, Combs continues to stretch the boundaries of country music while staying true to its core. “Back In The Saddle” exemplifies this balance—honoring the past, while charging forward into new territory.
