Loco Dice teams up with German rap legend Haftbefehl for ‘Ice Cold Dealer,’ a hard-hitting fusion of techno and hip-hop, out now.
Loco Dice returns with his latest single, “Ice Cold Dealer,” featuring multi-platinum German rapper Haftbefehl. Out now via Astralwerks, the track is a bold fusion of tech-house, hip-hop, and UK garage influences, bridging two distinct musical worlds.
The collaboration draws from Dice’s hip-hop roots, a foundational element in his early DJ career, and Haftbefehl’s raw storytelling, which has solidified him as a leading voice in German rap. “Ice Cold Dealer” opens with minimalist production, building into a deep 808 bassline, crisp percussion, and pulsating frequencies that lay the groundwork for Haftbefehl’s unmistakable flow.
Discussing the collaboration, Dice shares:
“There aren’t many German rappers who talk about things I can truly relate to. Haftbefehl is one of them. He speaks about the very reality I grew up with on the streets of Germany. The way he raps is the same way we speak in the hood — raw, real, and unfiltered.”
