Laci Kaye Booth’s “George F****** Strait” is a heartfelt nod to Texas roots and timeless cowboy charm.

Laci Kaye Booth’s latest single, “George F****** Strait,” is a tribute to enduring artistry and the romanticism of aging cowboys. The Texas native draws from deep personal inspiration, releasing the track just ahead of her appearance at CMA Fest.

The track’s central lyric—“God give me a man / That just gets better with age / Like George f****** Strait”—summarizes the longing and reverence embedded in Booth’s delivery. Co-written with Melissa Fuller and Anderson East, the song was produced by East and Ben West, both of whom bring a raw polish to the final sound.

Booth recalls her first George Strait concert fondly: “The majority of his music I’ve known by heart since I was a little girl. This song is about admiring and loving a cowboy as he ages.”

The visual companion, directed by Natalie Sakstrup, was shot in Nashville and channels a hazy, twilight mood that echoes the song’s slow-burning energy.

In addition to releasing new music, Booth is hitting the road this summer with performances across the U.S. and Canada, including festival dates and supporting slots for Megan Mooney and Parker McCollum.

Her previous single “Daddy’s Mugshot” was lauded for its lyricism and vulnerability. With “George F****** Strait,” Booth cements her voice as a defining presence in modern country—rooted in tradition but brimming with bold individuality.
