KATSEYE drops “Gnarly,” a fierce, genre-blending track powered by synths, 808s, and bold vision.
After claiming No. 1 spots on Billboard’s Emerging Artists and Heatseekers Albums charts with their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong), KATSEYE returns with “Gnarly”—a fierce club anthem that cements their position at the forefront of global pop.
The track, released via HYBE x Geffen Records, is produced by Pink Slip, Tim Randolph, “hitman” Bang, and Slow Rabbit. Sonically aggressive and emotionally resonant, “Gnarly” dives into the highs and lows of digital-age adolescence and self-discovery in the spotlight.
“We want people to feel the vibes,” the group said. “‘Gnarly’ feels true to us — it’s bold, it’s fun, and it shows a different side of what we’re about.”
Directed by Cody Critcheloe, the music video premiered on MTV Live, MTVU, and on Paramount’s Times Square screens—adding another visual gem to the group’s growing list of high-profile releases.
With their multicultural makeup and forward-thinking creative process, KATSEYE continues to evolve. Their debut project won acclaim from Rolling Stone, Interview Magazine, Los Angeles Times, and Cosmopolitan, and their live performances have earned raves at the MAMA Awards and iHeartRadio stages.
With “Gnarly,” KATSEYE sets the tone for the next phase of their artistic journey—equal parts polished and provocative.
