Jessie Reyez shares “Psilocybin & Daisies,” an introspective new single from PAID IN MEMORIES, out March 28 via FMLY / Island Records.
Jessie Reyez returns with “Psilocybin & Daisies,” the sixth release leading up to her third studio album, PAID IN MEMORIES, arriving March 28 via FMLY / Island Records. The track, which creatively reworks Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979, was written by Reyez and produced by SCUM and Warren “Oak” Felder.
Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins praised Reyez’s artistry, saying, “She’s so incredibly talented, and has that effortless, honest quality in her voice.” The song’s live session visual, directed by Jon Primo, adds another dimension to its ethereal energy.
The album boasts a star-studded lineup, including Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, and Miguel. Recent singles such as “JUST LIKE THAT” and “JEANS” have already generated excitement for the project.
From her 2024 Billboard Canada Women in Music Trailblazer Award to major festival performances worldwide, Reyez continues to prove she’s a dominant force in contemporary music. With over 3 billion streams and multiple platinum certifications, she’s gearing up for what promises to be another career-defining moment with PAID IN MEMORIES.
