“Flow”: [IVY] Makes Bold Bassrush Records Debut with High-Energy Drum & Bass Track

The hybrid producer drops a peak-time anthem fusing techno and drum & bass.

“Flow” unfolds with chopped and looped vocal hooks dripping with attitude, layered over iconic rave whistles and corkscrewing distorted saw leads. Psychedelic flourishes ignite the mix before the groove mutates from steppy drum and bass momentum into a snarling hard techno drive. The result is a dark, high-energy cut that captures the tension of underground rave culture while flexing [IVY]’s forward-thinking production style.

Describing the cross-pollination of influences seeping into her new single, [IVY] says, “The idea behind ‘Flow’ was to combine everything that I love about the sassy side of the techno scene and combine it with drum and bass.”

A self-confessed lover of mash-ups, [IVY] has carved her lane by blurring the lines between house euphoria, riotous donk, hardcore, and jungle wobble—a sound shaped by her teenage years in Brittany attending free parties and hardstyle raves in the Netherlands. After moving to Bristol, she immersed herself in the city’s 4×4 hybrid scene, honing her craft from bedroom mixes to her first booking at the legendary Blue Mountain before COVID pushed her deeper into production. Guided by mentorship from Hospital Records and early support from Overview, she quickly emerged as one of drum and bass’ most exciting new voices.

Her rise has been impossible to ignore, already earning co-signs from Charlie Tee, Arielle Free, Danny Howard, Zeds Dead, Sian Eleri, Fred V, and Jack Saunders. This summer, she’s dominated festival stages with a 27-stop run including Glastonbury, Rampage, Liquicity, Tomorrowland, Let It Roll, and Leeds Festival, with upcoming dates at Nocturnal Wonderland, Infrasound, Warehouse Project, Boundary, and Elevated Temple.

With “Flow,” [IVY] sharpens her vision: a darker, sassier edge of drum and bass that collides with the raw drive of techno. As she closes out a milestone year, her Bassrush debut cements her as a fearless new voice pushing the boundaries of the genre.
