“Medicine”, Grace Potter’s T Bone Burnett-produced album, finally sees the light via Hollywood Records.
Grace Potter is rewriting her narrative with Medicine, an unreleased album recorded over 15 years ago with acclaimed producer T Bone Burnett. This raw, soul-stirring project, now available via Hollywood Records, showcases Potter in a moment of transformation.
Back in 2008, Potter entered The Village Studios with a dream team of musicians and emerged with a body of work unlike any in her catalog. But the album was shelved. “It never occurred to me that the album might not get released,” Potter reflects. “But I’m at peace with the fact that it’s taken this long.”
From its title track to deeper cuts, Medicine leans into shadowy intensity and emotional clarity. Burnett brought in trusted collaborators like Jim Keltner and Marc Ribot to help sculpt its timeless sound.
This release accompanies renewed visibility for Potter — recent coverage includes The New York Times and People Magazine, and she’s set to perform on Live! With Kelly and Mark.
With Medicine, Grace Potter offers a poignant piece of her creative past, now reclaimed and fully her own.
