Future’s emotional video for “Lost My Dog” raises awareness for D.A.R.E. America. Watch the powerful new visual now.
Future has shared the official music video for “Lost My Dog,” a deeply emotional track from his chart-topping album Mixtape Pluto. Directed by longtime collaborator Henri Alexander Levy, the video is a reflective and vulnerable portrayal of grief as Future processes the loss of a close friend to a drug overdose.
The video’s release coincides with Future’s partnership with D.A.R.E. America to promote substance abuse prevention and education. Through his Freewishes Foundation, Future has made a donation to the organization, with Epic Records also contributing. Fans are encouraged to join the initiative by donating while streaming the video.
“Lost My Dog” is the sixth music video from Mixtape Pluto, an album that shattered records upon its release in 2024. The project marked Future’s 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and his third consecutive No. 1 album of the year. This feat made Future the first solo artist to achieve three consecutive No. 1 albums in a single year—a milestone previously achieved only by The Beatles in 1965-1966.
As Future heads into the 2025 GRAMMY® Awards with four nominations, including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song, “Lost My Dog” stands as a testament to his artistry, emotional depth, and cultural impact.
