Flo Milli teams with coop on ‘Perfect Person’ | A bold, upbeat take on a nostalgic anthem with signature style

Flo Milli is back with another head-turning release. Her new single “Perfect Person” featuring coop is officially out now via RCA Records, and it’s packed with attitude, fun, and a clever sample of Hoobastank’s beloved 2004 hit “The Reason.”

The track finds Flo in full command, reworking the rock ballad into a punchy anthem with fiery verses and modern bounce. It’s the latest in a string of releases that blend early 2000s references with her signature delivery. Her previous single, “Gripper” featuring T-Pain, flipped the hook from “I’m N Luv (Wit A Stripper)” into a fresh anthem that added to her growing catalog of clever reimaginings.

Flo’s latest drop follows her continued streak of high-profile appearances, including a standout performance at Wiscansin Fest, and builds on the success of her previous collaboration “Wet Dreams” with coop and G G. That track came with a bold, LEFF-directed visual that showed Flo’s continued evolution as both a performer and creative force.

The new single arrives in the wake of her third studio album Fine Ho, Stay, which completed a conceptual trilogy that also includes 2022’s You Still Here Ho? and 2020’s Ho, Why Is You Here?. With the inclusion of Platinum hit “Never Lose Me”, the album pushed Flo into mainstream recognition. The track reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, dominated TikTok, and sparked a viral remix with SZA and Cardi B.

Flo also made her television debut with a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and later delivered a widely praised NPR Tiny Desk concert celebrating Black Music Month.

With “Perfect Person”, Flo Milli continues building a discography filled with flair, clever samples, and fresh perspective—balancing nostalgia with innovation.
