FELIVAND releases new album rooted in vulnerability and self-trust, plus headline dates this fall.
FELIVAND has unveiled her latest body of work, my body’s my true north, a 2025 standout that pushes beyond typical songwriting conventions into deeply intuitive territory. The release is accompanied by a fall headline tour, with shows running September through October.
At the album’s core lies the idea of trusting what the body knows, even when the mind questions it. This inner alignment came through years of self-reflection and therapy, where FELIVAND learned that emotional truth often hides in the body’s quiet signals.
She explains: 
“When I listen to what my body’s telling me, it feels like an unwavering light at the end of the tunnel, an orienting point. Something fixed like a ‘true north’, while everything else around it spins. When I follow thought, i’m in with everything that’s spinning.”
That contrast — between spinning thoughts and a grounded bodily compass — shapes the album’s direction. Songs evolve through feeling, not formula. The result is a freer, more instinctive record than her debut Ties, which was praised for its precision but leaned more toward control.
With my body’s my true north, FELIVAND steps into a version of herself that is more embodied, more emotionally present, and far more fearless. It’s music created with care, but without restriction — and it may be her most resonant release yet.
