Singer-songwriter Esha Tewari previews wraith with nostalgic single “waltz” and continues global tour.
Singer-songwriter Esha Tewari has released “waltz,” the fifth and final single from her forthcoming EP wraith, scheduled to arrive on Thursday, May 1. The track reflects on youth, change, and sentimentality while hinting at what’s next in Tewari’s evolving musical journey.
Esha reflects:
“this is the final track of my EP, i wanted to make a little closing statement sort of that leads into my next project. it goes through little parts of nostalgia and growing up, it’s a really special song to me. and maybe might want to make you waltz”.
With soft production and emotionally direct lyricism, “waltz” fits seamlessly into the indie-folk aesthetic that has defined Tewari’s breakout year. The single joins “million times,” “empty pages,” “things i want,” and “you were mine” as part of the wraith narrative.
Over the weekend, she opened her sold-out Australian tour in Sydney, with upcoming packed shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. Only Adelaide still has limited tickets available.
In July, her North American tour begins, running through August 9. Already, shows in LA, Houston, Toronto, and Atlanta are sold out, the latter prompting a venue upgrade.
After debuting with “beautiful boy” in early 2024, Esha has grown a fanbase of Tewarians, totaling 13M+ streams, 805K monthly Spotify listeners, and over 500K social followers. wraith will be her third EP, following i can and better off.
