Eddie Benjamin releases “RUN!,” a groove-laden, emotionally explosive new single from his debut LP.

With “RUN!,” Eddie Benjamin delivers a compelling new chapter from his upcoming debut album, due in 2025. The single channels a storm of emotion through psychedelic-tinged R&B and alt-rock textures, all driven by Eddie’s virtuosic musicality and blistering vocals.

Written and produced with Alex Salibian (Harry Styles), “RUN!” captures the moment a bond between two people begins to splinter. Benjamin pleads through the hook—“Why do you run, run, you run away / When our love’s brighter than the sun?”—while layers of rhythm and guitar reflect the song’s turbulence.

“Don’t run from your emotions,” he says, encapsulating the heart of the song.

Much like on “MANIAC,” released earlier this year, Benjamin performs every instrument on the track, creating a world entirely his own. It ends with a fiery guitar solo, a musical exhale full of urgency and unresolved tension.

The video, directed by Mitch deQuilettes, expands the emotional narrative. Set in a sparse apartment, it follows Eddie as he’s watched by himself on screen, then confronted by an unseen presence—symbolizing the haunted space between love and separation.

Already praised for his collaborative work with Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and WILLOW, Eddie Benjamin continues to show that his artistry stands on its own. “RUN!” and “MANIAC” are just the beginning of what promises to be one of the year’s most compelling debut projects.
