Doja Cat introduces ‘Jealous Type’ | A confident lead into her fifth album ‘Vie’ and worldwide Ma Vie Tour
Doja Cat kicks off a striking new era with the release of ‘Jealous Type’, the first official single from her upcoming fifth studio album, Vie, dropping September 26. The track is now available on all platforms via Kemosabe Records and RCA Records, with an accompanying video directed by Boni Mata.
Produced by Jack Antonoff and Y2K, ‘Jealous Type’ pairs a sharp lyrical performance with shimmering, controlled production, blending pop precision with emotional tension. The visual, filmed in Los Angeles, delivers cinematic flair that elevates the single’s narrative.
Fans first caught a glimpse of the track during Doja Cat’s Summer ’25 campaign with Marc Jacobs. Since then, anticipation has soared, especially after her headline set at the 2025 Outside Lands Music Festival, where she performed ‘Jealous Type’ live for the first time. 
With the launch of her Ma Vie World Tour, Doja Cat extends her impact globally. The tour begins in Auckland on November 18 and will make stops in cities across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia including Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo. The December 21 finale in Kaohsiung will close the chapter in grand style.
VIP packages will give fans enhanced access, including exclusive merch, early venue entry, and curated pre-show lounge experiences. Tickets go on presale starting August 25 for select regions, with availability differing across Asia.
