Deltona’s first official release, ‘Heartbreak Fix’, brings a mix of grit and melody to a debut designed for both the heart and the stage.
The single is equal parts anthemic and emotional, lining up big rock riffs with a modern country edge while Georgia bred singer Ned Abernathy lowers his guard to search for relief from relationship pain.
The arrangement shows how each member shapes the identity of the group. Ohioan Caleb Miller covers the guitar spectrum, laying distorted lead runs beside notes that climb high above the track and balancing them with a raw acoustic strum. Chris Deaton, hailing from Tennessee, drives the foundation with drumming built for arenas. Ned adapts line by line, with a twang that can reach, restrain, or ride a tight rhythm, turning the hook into a communal moment that fits both barroom reflection and a live crowd’s roar.
“I’ll hold up in this house, I’ll drive a thousand miles, do anything to get past this / I’ll put the bottle down, I’ll outdrink any crowd, if there’s a way out / Hell, there ain’t a stone I wouldn’t turn to put back together what’s broke / When it comes to her I don’t know if there’s a heartbreak fix.”

The band captures their mindset around the release in a single breath. “We couldn’t be more stoked to have ‘Heartbreak Fix’ out!” says Deltona. “We’ve spent the past year writing countless songs and we’re so proud of what we’ve come up with so far. Our passion is country music and we feel like the time is right for another great country band. We hope you agree, and that you love ‘Heartbreak Fix’ as much as we do!”
Co written with Allison Veltz Cruz, known for work with Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley, and produced by Jason Massey, whose credits include Nate Smith and Kelsea Ballerini, ‘Heartbreak Fix’ arrives as a measure of the trio’s ambition. The release follows months of steady online traction, with nearly 14,000 TikTok followers amassed in about half a year. Their feed has showcased easy camaraderie and heartfelt covers of modern country staples by Aldean, Eric Church, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen, alongside early peeks at demos like ‘Leave the Country’ and ‘Love Don’t Love Me’.
