Daya drops new single “Infrared” and prepares for tour dates with Trixie Mattel.

Grammy-winning pop artist Daya has returned with “Infrared,” a compelling new single that introduces her first new music in a year. Released via ONErpm, the track marks the beginning of a promising new phase in her career.

Built on shimmering production and emotional contrasts, “Infrared” balances vulnerability with a sense of empowerment. As Daya explains, “‘Infrared’ captures this bold, confident bravado while also revealing a sincerity and fragility beneath the surface, which, for me, reflects the feelings of being intimate with someone for the first time.”

Alongside the release, Daya is gearing up for a short run of shows with Trixie Mattel. Cities on the itinerary include Chicago, Minneapolis, and Nashville.

This year also marks a major career milestone: the 10th anniversary of her debut single “Hide Away,” which has earned over 700 million streams and a 4x Platinum certification. Its renewed popularity, bolstered by Alan Walker’s remix, has made waves on streaming platforms and social media alike.

From her chart-topping work with The Chainsmokers on “Don’t Let Me Down” to her feature on Dom Dolla’s “Dreamin,” Daya’s range has always stood out. The latter has amassed 50 million streams and hit #2 on Australian radio, while climbing charts stateside.

Now working independently and with more collaborations on the horizon, Daya sets a bold tone with “Infrared”—a track that represents both her artistic evolution and her enduring connection with fans.
