Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning artist Daya has unleashed her electrifying new single “Bandit,” out today via ONErpm. The high-energy electro-pop track arrives as excitement continues to build for her long-awaited sophomore album Til Every Petal Drops, due October 10th. The album is available for pre-save today.
“‘Bandit’ is a song about heartbreak and picking up the pieces in the aftermath – seeing the signs clearly in hindsight that were harder to spot in the moment,” Daya shares. “It was fun to write a track that feels like a classic action scene in a movie, but make it about two girls in love. I really hope people love it.”
The upcoming album, her first full-length in nearly a decade following 2016’s career-jolting Sit Still, Look Pretty, finds the 4x Platinum artist diving deeper into self-reflection and sonic experimentation – capturing the messy beauty of heartbreak, healing, and growth through a more raw and evolved lens. 
Fans got an early glimpse of this new chapter this summer when Daya made a surprise appearance during Gryffin’s Lollapalooza set, joining him onstage at Perry’s to perform their hit collaboration “Feel Good.” The unannounced performance electrified the crowd and hinted at the breakout fall that lies ahead.
2025 also marks the 10th anniversary of Daya’s breakout hit “Hide Away,” which catapulted the Pittsburgh-born artist to superstardom at just 16 years old. The track – now certified 4x Platinum with nearly 700 million streams – has surged back into the spotlight thanks to a viral Alan Walker remix (20M+ streams, 300K+ social media creates) and a fresh alternate version released earlier this year.
