Guetta and Gervais honor their roots with ‘A Better World’, a soulful nod to disco and French house culture.

A Better World marks a dynamic reunion for David Guetta and Cedric Gervais, who revisit the soulful and disco-influenced sounds of their French roots in this new release. The track, now streaming worldwide, combines vibrant nu-disco rhythms with uplifting vocals inspired by Jackie Moore’s 70s legacy.

For both artists, this project is deeply personal. “I’m very proud of this record we did with David,” said Gervais. “It comes back to our musical roots—being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!”

Their journey from the underground scenes of Paris and Marseille to global recognition is echoed in the record’s nostalgic yet fresh energy. Their past work includes the hit Would I Lie to You, amassing over 500 million streams, and their 2023 release Switch on Spinnin’ Records.

Gervais continues to evolve with tracks like Feel Better, Bad Girl, and his modern reworks of dance staples. His live presence spans major festivals and clubs worldwide. Guetta’s 2025 is stacked with Ibiza residencies and headline sets at key festivals including Lollapalooza and Tomorrowland.

Together, they offer A Better World as a summer-ready soundtrack for unity, joy, and celebration of dance music’s roots.
