David Guetta reworks Alphaville’s “Forever Young” with Ava Max, dropping the new version on October 18th.
David Guetta has joined forces with Ava Max and legendary band Alphaville to release a fresh take on the classic track “Forever Young.” The reimagined version, due out on October 18th, captures the essence of the original song while adding Guetta’s signature EDM twist.
The song’s journey began on TikTok, much like Guetta’s massive hit “I’m Good (Blue).” “Forever Young” has since become a trending favorite, with more than 3 million TikTok creations helping it secure a spot as Warner Music Group’s most popular track on the platform this year. The song also hit #42 on the Spotify Global Top 200 Daily Streams Chart earlier this year.
This summer, Guetta’s version of “Forever Young” became a staple at his F** Me I’m Famous!* residency in Ibiza. Ava Max performed the track live in September at the closing party, and fan videos from the performance have already started appearing on social media. A live version will be officially released on Guetta’s YouTube channel alongside the single.
Guetta’s recent collaborations, including “I Don’t Wanna Wait” with OneRepublic and “Never Going Home” with Alesso, have been major hits, and “Forever Young” is poised to follow in their footsteps. With Ava Max’s stellar vocals and Alphaville’s timeless melody, this track offers the perfect mix of old and new.
