Corbyn Besson and Jeremih release “Summer,” a feel-good anthem ahead of Besson’s solo EP.
Corbyn Besson is making waves with his new single “Summer,” a collaboration with R&B powerhouse Jeremih. Released via BMG, the track combines lush melodies and vibrant energy, setting the tone for Besson’s upcoming debut solo EP.
“Summer” arrives as a defining moment in Besson’s artistic journey. Having gained recognition as part of Why Don’t We, he now channels his signature vocal warmth into a solo release that’s equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking. Jeremih adds a smooth, confident layer, enhancing the song’s effortless chemistry.
Of the collaboration, Besson shares, “This song is my ultimate summer anthem. Having Jeremih on it takes it to another level as I’ve been a fan of his for years. It’s a feel-good record that brings back all of my favorite memories growing up, and I hope it does the same for my fans.”
The track follows Besson’s previous solo single “Tied Up,” which featured production from top industry names including Hit-Boy, Tenroc, and Trevor Muzzy. Both releases build toward his debut EP, showcasing his evolving artistry and refined sound.
Beyond his solo efforts, Besson recently appeared on the electronic track “No One Else” with duo Two Friends. The song debuted live during their sold-out Red Rocks show, adding to Besson’s growing performance portfolio.
“Summer” is an inviting preview of what’s to come, highlighting Besson’s ability to craft immersive songs that resonate across genres.
