Uplifting and bold, Cian Ducrot’s “Shalalala” leads the way for his second album, “Little Dreaming”.
Irish pop phenomenon Cian Ducrot is back with “Shalalala,” a single that radiates strength and optimism as he prepares to release his sophomore album Little Dreaming on July 11. Known for his emotional depth and rich compositions, Ducrot taps into themes of unity and hope in this rousing track.
Written in collaboration with Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand, Bill Maybury, and Theo Hutchcraft, “Shalalala” is a bold, gospel-tinged anthem. It’s also produced by Ducrot and Göransson, with vocal contributions developed alongside Sjöstrand.
“This song is about hope and solidarity in times where the world feels like it needs it most,” says Ducrot. “It’s about holding our friends, loved ones and strangers close and remembering we are all part of the same world, the same community, the same purpose. Love is the only answer, and beauty is there where you look for it. The probability of being born is estimated to be 1 in 400 trillion and never mind that we are all here at the same time…so let’s come together and let us sing together SHALALALA.”
“Shalalala” joins recent releases “Who’s Making You Feel It” and “Little Dreaming,” all offering listeners a glimpse into Ducrot’s evolving artistry. The upcoming album will blend heartfelt lyrics with sonic influences from pop legends like Queen and Elton John.
