Chloe Moriondo opens 2025 with the release of her wistful new single, “shoreline,” available now via Public Consumption/Fueled By Ramen. Co-written and produced by Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese House), the track dives into the emotions of a breakup, blending heartfelt lyrics with an atmospheric, pulsing sound.
In “shoreline,” Chloe captures the heartbreak and longing that follow the end of a relationship, singing: “You’re still so mean and sweet at the same time / left me alone on the shoreline / washed up and waiting at high tide.” The song’s poignant lyrics, paired with Chloe’s tender delivery, reflect an emotional depth that resonates with listeners.
Sharing her feelings about the single, Chloe said: “‘shoreline’ is very near and dear to my heart. It encapsulates a lot of the feelings that came from my first big breakup, and I poured a lot of myself into it. I hope it’s gently loved ♡.”
To accompany the release, Chloe has shared a visualizer on her YouTube channel, which complements the song’s reflective tone. Additionally, she has announced a North American headline tour starting April 25 in Detroit at El Club. The tour will visit major cities, including LA’s Echoplex on May 9, NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on May 20, and Toronto’s Velvet Underground on May 23.
