Cam’s “Everblue” offers an emotional preview of ‘All Things Light‘, releasing July 18.
Cam’s new single “Everblue” is not just a song—it’s a mirror held up to emotion, loss, and self-acceptance. Released ahead of her third studio album All Things Light, the track emerges as a quiet anthem for resilience.
“In a way I think we’re all eternally heartbroken by the world,” Cam says, “and when I sing this song it’s a way of holding space for that heartbreak.”
Co-written with Aldae and longtime collaborator Tyler Johnson, the track embraces minimalism while echoing a universal sadness. The James Mackel-directed video adds visual poetry to the sonic tone, offering symbolic rebirth amidst stillness.
With All Things Light arriving July 18 via RCA Records, Cam continues her journey as a songwriter unafraid to explore difficult terrain. The album, recorded during early motherhood and pandemic isolation, digs deep into the duality of light and dark.
It features some of the industry’s most notable names—Michael Uzowuru, Jeff Bhasker, Ethan Gruska, and Starrah, among others—resulting in a genre-spanning release that speaks both emotionally and musically.
Earlier singles like “Alchemy” and “Turns Out That I Am God” hint at the introspective storytelling and spiritual depth Cam brings to this project.
