Cam drops her new track “Alchemy,” a soulful blend of folk, country, and pop elements.

Celebrated singer-songwriter Cam steps back into the spotlight with “Alchemy,” her first solo release in four years. The single is out now via all major streaming platforms and reflects her distinctive ability to merge storytelling with melody in ways that transcend genre.

“Alchemy” was produced by Cam’s longtime collaborator Tyler Johnson and co-written by a formidable team that includes Michael Uzowuru and Anders Mouridsen. The song invites listeners into a meditative space that considers the transitions and cycles of life.

“I wanted to write something where we just focused on melody, but it turned into a song about reflecting on what we’re made of, where we’re coming from and where we’re going,” Cam states.

The release is supported by a music video directed by James Mackel, who previously helmed visuals for Doechii. Shot in a single take, the video captures the organic intensity that underscores Cam’s latest work.

Best known for her 3x platinum track “Burning House,” which featured on her 2015 debut Untamed, Cam has built a reputation for lyrical honesty and sonic innovation. “Alchemy” continues that trajectory, while offering fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

Her recent credits include co-writing and performing on Beyoncé’s COWBOY CARTER, an album that earned her a Grammy win for Album Of The Year. She also collaborated with 070 Shake on “Never Let Us Fade” from PETRICHOR—a track she co-wrote and vocally contributed to.
