“Dream Away” sees Amy Wiles team with Angel City for a nostalgic and uplifting new trance-pop fusion.
Amy Wiles continues to solidify her role as a frontrunner in the UK’s trance resurgence with her new release, “Dream Away,” featuring the legendary Angel City. Known for her position within the Anjunabeats label and a string of standout 2025 releases, Wiles’ latest effort taps into emotional trance with a fresh twist.
The collaboration comes on the heels of Wiles’ recent tracks “Heard It All Before” and “Each Other,” both of which earned major radio support. This time, the pairing with Angel City—aka Lara McAllen, whose early-2000s hits defined an era of UK dance—adds a nostalgic texture to the uplifting melodies Wiles is known for.
“When Lara (Angel City) reached out and mentioned that she was relaunching her project… I instantly got excited,” says Wiles. “The fact that we have a collaboration now, 20+ years later, is wild to me and a real full-circle moment.”
The track stands out for its classic yet progressive structure, combining powerful songwriting contributions with Wiles’ signature euphoric production. “It’s not like anything I’m currently hearing out there… It has a nostalgic feel while also bringing something fresh to the table.”
“Dream Away” offers more than a dancefloor moment—it captures a shared history of trance music through a modern lens, resonating with longtime fans and newcomers alike.
